· 1 gallon of water

· Measured out color (if desired)

· Clean mixing tub

· Clean mixer

· Additional decorative rock and or glass for quick tops-one only

Step #2

If desired iron oxide or liquid colors may be added to your mix. 10 oz for iron oxides is the maximum amount recommended to be added to one 50# bag.  8 oz Is the maximum amount of liquid color. Pre-measure your color prior to mixing.

Step #5

Place the water into mixing tub.

Step  #9

Blend the mix until all the dry powder is completely blended.

Step  #8

Pour the Bag Mix into the mixing tub.  Be Cautious not to “fold” to much air into the mix as you blend it.  Minimize the up and down motion and the fluffing of the mix in the tub keeping the paddle in the mix.

If the size of your piece allows as gently shake the form from side to side to help the material level.

VERSION 2.1

1. On hot days it is recommended to wet cure the cast piece by spraying the back side with water as many times as needed.

3.Once the piece is cast do not move it.  Moving the piece may cause it to crack or delaminate.

Miscellaneous Tips

2. If the air temperature is lower than 70 degrees F.  The cure time may extend longer than 4 hours.  Thinner pieces may cure slower.  as the thinner mass generates minimal heat.

4.To assure uniformity when casting multiple pieces measure out all of your additives prior to mixing.

5. Heavy tapping or use of a vibrating table for a long period of time may cause the decorative aggregate or glass to consolidate to the center of the piece.
